Sylvia has won a National Championship with the North Carolina Tar Heels. She also earned 2 gold medals and was named USA basketball Player of the Year.

Sylvia played professionally with the WNBA Portland Fire and the San Antonio Silver Stars (currently known as the Las Vegas Aces). Throughout her 12 year career, Sylvia took her talents to
16 different countries.
